We’re exhausted. With all the changes going on in our household, it’s no wonder we are wore out. Within the last few months, we’ve moved to a new apartment, changed our last name, and I started biking to work.
Change is good, but every change expends some energy. There is some physical energy expended, but it’s more the mental energy that takes its toll.
Luckily the weather has warmed up nicely and we spend much of the last two weekends relaxing by the pool. It’s been nice to turn off our brains and just relax. While sitting poolside I caught up on some reading, and both Dream and I enjoyed the quiet warmth of the sun. Faith kept busy swimming and playing in the hot tub. The pool water was a bit cold still, but the hot tub was nice and warm.
I’m still in recharge mode so instead of my usual posts I thought it might be fun to open up for questions.
What’s on your mind? Is there anything you have been wondering about? Ask me anything, from questions about our life to questions about any of the changes we’ve made.
I’m happy to answer questions about our Big Purge, selling our house to downsize to an apartment, minimalism, name change, bike commute, toxic grandparents, or anything else I’ve written about here at Rethinking the Dream.
I’m also happy to lend a hand or offer advice if you are stuck in a rut or if you need some reassurance from a friend.
Let’s have ‘em, ask your questions in the comments section below.
