After several delays, we finally have a court date for our name change. We scheduled for April 3, bright and early at 8am. This is the final step of the name change process, and we are really looking forward to having our new last name.
After changing our name we will have more work to do, of course. We have to change it everywhere it’s listed, beginning with the Social Security office, then our Driver’s Licenses, and then everything else. The timing is good too, as we will be moving around this same time, so maybe we can take care of address changes and name changes at the same time.
